Exercise Makes You Happy

I had a conversation with a colleague last week about why GPs prescribe exercise for mild depression. Most exercisers will testify to the ‘feel good’ glow which comes following a workout, be it a pounding spin class or brisk walk in the woods.

Don’t just take my word for it – it’s a result of all kind of chemical goings-on in the body and is backed up by science. Exercise makes you happy. Fact.
